Description:

Janice Carter has lived the life of a devout Christian, blithely accepting all the Church teaches about the nature of good and evil, believing she is on the side of good. Then one day she meets a boy who changes everything. He tells her he is Lucifer, and that the God she worships is not what she has been led to believe, for in the ongoing war between Good and evil, lies and propaganda are the deadliest weapons. Now she must struggle to reveal the Truth about the very nature of reality, about what is truly good, and what is evil, or all of mankind will be enslaved forever to an unforgiving deity.

When I first thought of publishing this book, I was concerned what the religious community might think. Then I had a devout Christian ask to proof the book for me. At first he was shocked, but continued. I think by the book's end, he wasn't as shocked as he thought he would be. He found it an interesting read as a work of fiction work, as was my intention.

When Janice Carter left church that morning, she had no idea her life would change forever. What had been a simple life suddenly got more complicated. After dying and being resurrected by Lucifer, she is forced to face the truth and enter into a battle with God. She must convince the world of God’s lies, or let it suffer the consequences. The more God/Iam terrorizes her; the more determined she is to win. In the end she is fighting for the well being of her own family and friends, as well as that of mankind.

One boring night I sat down to write a short story. That short story turned into a novel. It has grown to spawn a sequel that is raw, but finished. The third book is well on its way to completion, which might be the best of the three.

I  may give sneak previews of the sequels as I continue to write. For some reason, the character of Janice has me spellbound. Maybe I have made her the type of person I would want to be, or to be with, or maybe she is just an extension of myself.

Pete, I am not sure where he came from. Maybe he was one of my friends at some point, or maybe he is me. Even though its not mentioned, except in the very beginning, that he is a jock, and sometimes the world draws a cruel picture of athletes.
In school I did find some that fit the stereotype, while some were my friends who were kind, similar to Pete

I would think most have read the bible and wondered about some of the things it tells. If nothing else, most agree that it is a compelling book.
